Media Blasting

Wide Range of Blasting Services

DELICATE SURFACES

Materials like wood, aluminum, plastics, glass and composites are treated  using specially formulated Armex Baking Soda Abrasives.

DIFFICULT SURFACES

Materials including epoxy coatings and rust on metal or concrete require a much more aggressive blasting media like coal slag (Black Beauty), which is considered one of the safer forms of media, containing less than 1% silica. Options also include Aluminum oxide blasting, the most aggressive multipurpose blasting media.

Finish Results and Restoration Services

Pro-Tech Environmental, Inc. has performed numerous projects where the purpose of blasting is not only to remove paint, but also give the substrate an appealing textured surface that does not require repainting. After blasting and clean up, personnel are trained and experienced in repainting any size project from residential structures to industrial storage tanks using latex, oils, urethanes, or epoxy coatings.

Extensive Training and Experience Personnel

All personnel have extensive training in the specialized field of environmental abatement and its control measures and undergo annual physical and biological monitoring.
